Dear Sir, Sub : To approve our organisation as an Approved Service Organisation for Stitching Uniforms in Bhongiri / Nalgonda Parliamentary Constituencies – Request – Reg. *** We introduce ourselves as “The Mother Educational and Rural Development Society” registered having Regd.No. 1264/2003 under Societies Registration Act. Our organisation was founded in the year 2003 exclusively to empower Women force. During these 20 years span we have trained more than 2 lakhs rural women in stitching uniforms. We have around 980 groups in 100 villages each group consisting of minimum 10 members in the Bhongiri Parliamentary area and around 500 groups in 50 villages consisting 10 members in each group in Nalgonda Parliamentary area. We have 50 supervisors, 100 coordinators and 300 women trainers, who are fully conversant with designing, cutting, stitching / tailoring of uniforms. We have so far stitched around 2,50,000 uniforms in Bhongir, Janagam, Aleru, Munugodu, Nakarekal, Ibrahimpatnam in Bhongir Parliamentary Constituency and in Nalgonda, Aleru, Suryapet, Miryalaguda, Devarakonda and Nagarjuna Sagar in Nalgonda Parliamentary Constitution for Navodaya Schools, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe Hostels and in another some of the Government Schools.
In view of this Tailoring work was provided to the women folk in some areas of Telangana and around 20,000 families are surviving with this additional income. You may kindly be aware Sir, that our Hon’ble Chief Minister in his recent statement has been insisting on supporting women empowerment in particular and to self help groups in general and also stitching of these uniforms from these women organisations. As we have sufficient and considerable experience in this field for so many years and as we have trained and experienced women supervisors, trainers and workers in stitching of uniforms, we humbly request you kindly to arrange to approve our organisation as an Approved Training Centre to Training the uniforms in these government educational institutions in this Constituency area to support the women in Telangana State.
